Hi all! I have the best job in the world! I am a middle school library media specialist. I teach in a small, rural school in the upstate of South Carolina. We only have about 250 students in grades 6-8. This is my second career. Previously, I worked in corporate accounting. I have a B.A. in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina. I am excited to begin another leg in my educational journey in pursuit of an Ed.S. from Coastal Carolina University.
My husband and I have four boys and two dogs. We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, reading (and listening to) books, watching movies, and most competitive team sports, especially football! I also love gardening, cooking, and restoring, refinishing, and collecting furniture.
